SBDX041 BEAMS Limited Edition 300 Pieces

From $5,999
Seiko's and Japan's first ever diver's watch ref. 6217 (62 MAS) was made in 1965 at a time when watches with high levels of water resistance were not widely available. It incorporated an automatic mechanical caliber and delivered 150m water resistance. The watch was designed for maximum reliability and legibility in the harshest conditions and was used by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition from 1966 to 1969.

The SBDX041 is an extremely faithful recreation of this original model by Seiko. This very special collaboration between SEIKO and BEAMS Japan is limited to 300 pieces. This model features a beautiful black dial and matching date wheel. The caseback logo has also been altered from the SLA017 with the dolphin wearing a hat and briefcase to commemorate Tora-san star of the Japanese television series "It's tough being a man".

Don't miss your opportunity to own one of the best dive watches ever produced.
